The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are looking for individuals seeking entry into the sports industry to work in the front office (ticket sales) during the 2014 season.




Internship Duties
• Learn all aspects of running a ticket sales department within a professional baseball organization
• Sell season tickets, coupon books, group outings, birthday parties, and hospitality areas
• Maintain accurate database of ticket buyers and prospects
• Acquire a working knowledge of the Glitnir ticketing system
• Handle customer service inquiries over the phone and at ticket windows
• Assist entire staff with printing and processing of all ticket orders
• Other duties as assigned
• Hours: Varying
• Salary: Unpaid/College credit

Requirements
• Current college student or recent graduate
• Ability to work long hours including night and weekend events
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Previous ticket sales experience preferred but not required
