February 25, 2013 | Leave a Comment
As the events and entertainment manager with the Baltimore Ravens, Megan Collins has planned and executed a multitude of events, including pregame and halftime shows, training camp, and fan events. As a member of the marketing department, Megan Collins will talk about all of the aspects of the work that goes into organizing and preparing these large, annual or weekly special events and show students some of her work materials for them to analyze and discuss.
Students will also have the chance to assist in the preparations for one of the events she is currently planning. Students will work in teams to develop event ideas, prepare a proposal, and pitch them to Megan Collins and Professor Heather Dichter. This course will require students to do reading in advance and participate fully in a weekend in class experience.
