Camp Winadu is looking for a counselor to teach Sports Broadcasting to our campers. This is a great opportunity for anyone considering or working in sports management, teaching or broadcasting.

Jared Shapiro, director/owner, will be at Ithaca College recruiting on Tuesday, February 19th at Career Services (101 Muller) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and by appointment after 1:00 p.m. Camp Winadu is recruiting counselors for summer 2013 (students and graduate students).

• The candidate will have the exciting role of creating our Sports Broadcasting program. We would like to teach our campers how to do play-by-play and color commentary of various sports activities. Social media and video expertise will be considered a plus in the application process.

• A counselor at Winadu (located in beautiful Berkshires, MA — approximately three hours to the west of Boston and north of New York City) may have a dual role: Both as a bunk counselor living in a bunk with kids, and a specialty counselor teaching their specific area of expertise.
